Our veterinary services are delivered with courtesy and respect!

As a new client of our Holland Park or Carina Veterinary Clinics, you can expect our full attention to your pet’s needs.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, yours and your pet’s details will be recorded and your pet weighed. In most cases, one of our veterinary nurses will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

As soon as possible you will be ushered into one of our consultation rooms and one of our veterinarians will then examine your pet, ask you further questions and then if needed, discuss and recommend diagnostic tests or procedures. On most occasions our vets will formulate an immediate treatment plan for your pet to go home with then and there. On other occasions it may be necessary to admit your pet to our clinic for tests, procedures or observation. Once the tests or procedures have been run, which can usually be done in the practice, your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan if warranted.

The initial consultation is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing. Our vets always strive to be thorough and will spend a lot of time examining and considering treatment options for your pet, both in the consultation and “behind the scenes” in the clinic.

One of our experienced veterinary nurse team will likely come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful pet care information and answer any wellness and care questions you may have. Our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any needed follow-up appointments.

For your convenience we offer GAP ONLY PAYMENTS. This  enables   your pet insurance claims to be processed on the spot before  you leave the clinic. This is available for many pet insurance companies but not all. Please ask  reception when making your booking or before you go into your consultation for more details.
